About Me
Hi, My Name is Emily, I’m a Fitness professional with over 10 years experience and a very proud mum of two beautiful girls.
I’m passionate about getting people moving, enjoying fitness and having fun while doing it. Health and fitness of the Mind, body and soul is a balance that is forever adjustable. I want to help empower people by giving those I train the knowledge and motivation to discover better versions of themselves.
I’m a big believer that mental and physical health go hand in hand. Throughout my life I’ve loved how exercise and movement has had a positive impact on my wellbeing and has become a coping mechanism, for stress, anxiety and pain management. Exercise is often treated as a necessity, but it puts a smile on your face, lifts your mood and makes you feel energised - like you can achieve any thing.
As a qualified Personal Trainer and class instructor, I want to share this - with beginners, with people who find themselves coming back from injury or long term illness, and want to start that journey back into fitness. I have a passion for teaching older people movement, to keep them moving and able to have functional movement well into old age.
More specifically recently I want to help educate and train pre and post natal women who find themselves wanting to feel strong again. In the past there’s not been enough in the way of access to good recovery knowledge. You have to sift your way through outdated or often uneducated advice, and I want to use my experiences, knowledge and expertise in pre and post natal exercise and nutrition to help other mums to try and find the balance of health, fitness and motherhood.
