What is Walkfit?
Walkfit is a short low impact fitness class all done to music. Walkfit uses no equipment and utilises a basic walk as the base of the class with varying speeds, movement patterns and rhythms with arms lines etc.
Who is the class for?
The class is for all levels of fitness and is a great class for beginners, people getting back into exercise after injury or illness, or if you’re just wanting to get their steps in before they go to work. With the average person clocking up around 1,100 steps in every 10 minutes.
My aim with this class is for to support you in keeping a routine, encouraging gentle daily exercise to get you moving, help lift your mood and improve your mental health. Finally Walkfit will hopefully help create a community of supportive and like minded people. And it’s so much fun - I can’t wait for you to come and get started.

To take part in the class?
Before you take part in the class, you’ll need to complete a short questionnaire with 7 questions - a participant readiness questionnaire or PARQ for short.
